I love to be creative, and I love to give creative gifts. So when it came time to come up with a Christmas gift for one of the most creative people I have ever met, I knew it had to be amazing. It had to be “break down in tears” amazing.
So I decided to make my friend a custom quilt, with blocks that represent her two “fur children”. I’ve only ever made two quilts before, both from those ‘everything included kits’ you get from the fabric store, this was a new adventure.
I found an iPad app called Quiltopgraphy, and designed the basic blocks.
The end results, custom quilt and two throw pillows:
